Our 'double' consisted of two twin beds pushed together. But we knew that going in and it was fine. Plastic bins for dressers and nightstands. Plastic chairs and stools covered in pink quilt. The room was very, very clean - a big deal to me. We stayed on the third floor for both visits. lol After a transatlantic flight, I was very grateful for the 24/7 espresso, latte, cappucino, give-me-some-caffeine coffee machine. My husband later found the ice cream machine and enjoyed. The buffet is mostly breads and a few small items. We arrived early morning and they gladly stored our luggage and invited us to enjoy breakfast. This is a small, boutique hotel that is in business because of its location and excellent customer service. Upon arriving you take a (very slow) lift to reception. The taxi stand is just a few feet from the entrance of the hotel.

The taxi to/from the airport was about 30 euro plus a tip. They also tucked a bottle of cava into our mini fridge. The manager honored the TripAdvisor coupon for both stays, so our third floor room with a balcony overlooking La Rambla was 113 euro per night. As with all properties, there are pros and cons.
